2008- Completing our 8th year at the Silvermine Tavern, Norwalk, CT, The Bearcats resume Thursdays on Jan 3rd . We start at 6:30 and make New orleans Jazz while you enjoy the superb buffet dinner.

Also in January we restart at the Blazer Pub, Purdys, NY on Jan 31st after a brief interruption due to a squirrel instigated electric fire in November. We will complete 30 years at the Blazer in March. We start each last Thursday of the month at 8 PM and enjoy the aroma of your hamburgers and fries until 10:30.

Our public schedule at this time begins in June.

June 28: Fairfield University.

This is in conjunction with the Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra and is an opportunity to enjoy jazz and then get some "culture". I will describe the BSO offering as soon as they let me in on it.

July 4: Caramoor Festivities with The Bearcats Quartet; Gim, Noel, Greg and Moi will appear once again at the Caramoor Festivities.

Start time for the band is 12 noon but preceeding us is a delightful tour of the famous archtiecture and gardens of the Caramoor Estate, Bedford, NY

July 15: The Bearcats Quartet will perform at the Greenwich Common from 12 noon to 1 PM.

July 25, 26 and 27: . The Great Connecticut Traditional Jazz Festival, the Bearcats appear again.

It is early in the season and there will be many more Bearcat performances which I will post on this web site. So tune in occassionally for updates. We are doing a dinner dance on Dec 28th, 2007, but I'm not sure while I am typing this if it will be included in time.
